Description
This is a comprehensive course regarding elevating work platforms (EWP). This program is intended for personnel who operate or supervise the operation of a non self-propelled, self-propelled and self-propelled boom-type elevating work platforms. There is a theory (specific hazards the worker could encounter in the workplace while using an EWP) and hands-on (practical) instruction component. The participant must successfully pass both components to get certified and will receive a wallet card if they do so on the day of the training. A prerequisite of fall protection or working at heights training (depending on the sector) is also necessary. This course is 4-hours in duration and is valid for 3 years.
